Mrs. Shackema Baptiste-Henry, affectionately known as Mrs. Alpha, is the co-owner of Alpha Fitness VI, a leading results-driven fitness company serving the Virgin Islands and the wider Caribbean.

A passionate advocate for health and wellness, she spends much of her time training clients, preparing pageant queens, and offering both in-person and virtual fitness sessions. She also manages her husband, professional bodybuilding athlete Jermaine Henry, supporting his career in the competitive fitness industry.

Mrs. Alpha is a God-fearing woman devoted to her husband, their three brilliant children, and their beloved puppy. Her personal journey is one of resilience and transformation. After being diagnosed with borderline diabetes, she committed to changing her lifestyle and has since lost 100 pounds, reclaiming her health and inspiring others to do the same.

Her faith was tested again during the COVID-19 pandemic when she made the difficult decision to leave a nearly two-decade career in banking. As one of the Caribbean’s leading Top Sales Officers and Financial Advisors, she had built an impressive reputation in the banking sector. However, when faced with the choice between her career and her family during the global lockdown, while caring for a young baby with no childcare available, she chose her family and began homeschooling her children.

This pivotal moment led her to fully join her husband in expanding Alpha Fitness VI, where she now serves as both a Certified Fitness Trainer and Marketing Manager, helping grow the company’s clientele through strategic marketing and networking. Through fitness, she empowers individuals to transform their lives physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Beyond fitness, Mrs. Alpha is deeply committed to community impact. She serves as a youth mentor, encouraging younger generations to dream big and prioritize healthy living. She is also known for quietly supporting the less fortunate through acts of philanthropy.

She is also the owner of AlphaFitzVI Wardrobe Styling, where she has worked behind the scenes of several prestigious pageants, providing makeup and wardrobe styling. Her love for pageantry spans over a decade, and she continues to uplift and empower young women through mentorship, coaching, and even judging local pageants.

Mrs. Alpha proudly serves as a brand ambassador for THRIVE by JBY fitness wear, True Luxury Hair, Sha-Lush Beauty Parlor and Alpha Therapy, Jamaica. 

In her free time, she enjoys creating delicious recipes for her family, reading, dancing, playing the violin, traveling, and working as a freelance model.
