Meet Mrs. British Virgin Islands Globe 2026

Kimberly Ardella Herbert

Platform: Stronger Mothers, Stronger Communities

Kimberly Ardella Herbert is the embodiment of grace, purpose, and modern womanhood. At 30, she stands elegantly at 5 feet 8 inches, carrying with her a quiet strength rooted in faith, service, and an unwavering commitment to community upliftment. Born and raised in the Virgin Islands to Kurtney Herbert and Arletta Bickerton, Kimberly’s journey reflects both heritage and heart.

Academically grounded and socially conscious, she pursued her studies in Humanities at H. Lavity Stoutt Community College before earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Georgia State University. With her eyes set on attaining a Master’s in Social Work, Kimberly is steadily building toward a life dedicated to advocacy, empowerment, and meaningful impact.

Her passion for service was ignited in her formative years, where a simple requirement for volunteer hours blossomed into a lifelong calling. Since joining the Interact Club in 2011 and dedicating over a decade to the Rotaract Club of Tortola—where she served as Treasurer—Kimberly has consistently exemplified leadership with compassion and intention. Guided by her deep faith, she believes that true purpose is found in service, and she lives each day as a vessel of love, hope, and kindness.

A nurturer by nature, Kimberly’s love for children and families inspired the creation of Helping Hands Org, a nonprofit initiative devoted to supporting mothers and families in need. Through this platform, she provides essential items such as pampers, wipes, and groceries—meeting families where they are with dignity and care. Born from her own lived experiences as a mother navigating challenges, Helping Hands Org is more than an initiative—it is a reflection of her resilience and her refusal to allow other mothers to struggle in silence.

Expanding her impact within the health sector, Kimberly collaborates with the BVI Health Services Authority to strengthen the breastfeeding community across the Virgin Islands. As a trained Lactation Counselor, she champions awareness, education, and support for mothers, empowering them with knowledge and confidence throughout their journey.

No stranger to elegance and stage presence, Kimberly has long embraced the art of pageantry. She proudly represented the Virgin Islands at the Miss Earth International Pageant in the Philippines, where her standout moment—a handcrafted recycled costume—beautifully symbolized her belief that transformation and beauty can emerge from the most unexpected places.

Beyond her service and advocacy, Kimberly finds joy in life’s simple luxuries—culinary creativity, travel, the tranquil beauty of the Virgin Islands’ beaches, and most importantly, cherished moments with her two daughters.

At her core, Kimberly’s life is a tribute to legacy, inspired by her late grandmother, Harriette Herbert, whose example of compassion continues to guide her. With every step, Kimberly honors that legacy by living out her mission: to inspire, uplift, and remind the world that even the smallest act of love can create a powerful ripple of change.
